Well, I arrived in Chicago yesterday, and I'm basically moved in to my apartment, had orientation today...and don't start classes till day after Labor Day. I'm really pumped about the other people in my department, though--this should be fun.

All the things I have to do, though...set up phone service, find job, find grocery stores, set up internet?...(no, I haven't done that yet, but yes, I am in my apartment on my computer--borrowing someone else's unprotected wireless! Bad me!!!), find out what books I need so I can try to find them cheap online...and basically, I can't do any of this until Monday. Whoopdedoo....think I'll do a lot of bike-riding tomorrow to get familiar with the area.
